Basics of Freelancing in Germany

A variety of professional activities in art, design and media are recognized as liberal professions. They combine professional expertise and creative talent with services or works that are characterized by the fact that they are developed personally, on one’s own responsibility and professionally independent. From the invoice to the business plan, the subject of the seminar are the basics of freelance work. Essential aspects are business forms, artists‘ social insurance, collecting societies, taxes, and pricing. The aim of the seminar is to develop independent ideas for an economic positioning in the contexts of choice.
